Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, better known as the Goddess of Slots, is taking her passion for gaming to the high seas through an exciting new partnership with Virgin Voyages, the premier adults-only cruise line. Together, they’re bringing the “Goddess of Slots x Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady” experience to life!
Perfect for casino lovers, slot machine enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys high-stakes fun while cruising through the Caribbean, Goddess of Slots x Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady embarks on the 5-night Dominican Daze voyage, departing from Miami, FL, on Friday, September 12, 2025, and returning Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Guests will not only enjoy world-class gaming but also get the chance to meet and play alongside Lorraine herself. The itinerary includes stops in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, and Bimini, Bahamas—two stunning destinations offering sun, sea, and, of course, thrilling casino action. For the itinerary, click here.
Lorraine’s rise to gaming stardom happened almost by accident. A single viral video—captured and posted —showed her winning big at a slot machine, and the internet couldn’t get enough. Her infectious energy and natural charisma turned her into an overnight sensation, quickly amassing a loyal fan base that only continues to grow. Before long, casinos, gaming conventions, and even industry podcasts were inviting her to be part of their events. Today, Lorraine is a household name, a sought-after influencer, and a pioneer in digital casino entertainment.
In August 2024, she was one of the top personalities at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, where she showcased AGS’s latest slot machines in a series of highly anticipated live streams. Then, in October, she teamed up with legendary slot player Scott “Raja” Richter (The Big Jackpot) for an exclusive gaming cruise aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady. During the trip, they hosted the grand opening of the ship’s High Limit Game Room—an event so successful that it paved the way for The Goddess Of Slots Cruise. Lorraine wrapped up 2024 on a high note, competing in the Atlantis $1 Million Slot Tournament, where she reached the semi-finals and further cemented her status as a fan favorite.
This year is shaping up to be just as exciting for Lorraine as she is stepping back into acting, having been cast in a TV series based on a true story, set to begin filming soon. Her winning partnership with Scott “Raja” Richter also continues. On November 25, they’ll be live-streaming from the Hard Rock in Tampa, where they’ll showcase The Phoenix Link, Aristocrat’s newest slot game, ahead of its official release. On December 5, Lorraine will appear on the Live Well and Thrive podcast with Mike Torchia before heading to Las Vegas for a special event at The El Cortez Hotel and Casino.

The Bold and the Beautiful star Sean Kanan is no stranger to drama. The actor who portrays Deacon Sharpe on the soap stars alongside actress Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff in a new 30-minute drama named Bloodhound.
World Famous Art Heist
Bloodhound stars Kanan as retired FBI Special Agent Christopher Stone. It comes from the Daytime Emmy-winning team behind the soap Studio City, and is written, directed and produced by Michele Kanan. The intriguing new drama is based on the true story of one of the world’s biggest unsolved art heists—the Isabella Gardner Museum Heist of 1990 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The heist took place when guards admitted two men posing as police officers who stole 13 works of art valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. The case remains unsolved, and the museum offers a $10M reward (the largest bounty offered by a private institution) for information leading to the art’s recovery.
Kanan stars in the series alongside actress Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff (Real Rob), who plays Natalie Edwards in the first four episodes that have aired on Pop TV. Playing Lorraine’s husband in Bloodhound is Justin Torkildsen, also from The Bold and the Beautiful. Harsimran Ghotra, who appeared as Perry on the soap, as well as Jennifer Gareis, who plays Donna Logan, are featured as well. Filming on the series will resume in February.
Intriguing Drama
Bloodhound follows the relentless pursuit of justice by newly retired FBI Special Agent Christopher Stone as he navigates the shadows of his past and the dangerous criminal underworld while confronting old ghosts for one last chance at his white whale case before succumbing to the ravishing effects of Dementia. The series dives into the complexities of loyalty, sanity, and redemption in a world where every move could be the last.
Bencivengo-Ziff is an actress, producer, prominent gaming influencer, and entrepreneur. Her popular online moniker, “Goddess of Slots,” was created due to a jackpot win that went viral on social media. Now known by the title, she has become a formidable influencer in the casino and gaming industry and a co-founder of the fashion house Goddess of Slots Casual, Elegant, Club & Casino Apparel. She has since collaborated with Hard Rock Atlantic City and Peppermill Reno for the rollout of new slot machines, set sail on Virgin Voyages for the unveiling of their new high-limit gaming room, and competed in Atlantis Bahamas’ VIP $1 Million Slot Tournament.

The Goddess Of Slots Has Range
You ever hit a jackpot so big it landed you social media fame and a role on a TV show? Yeah, me neither. But Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff did, and now she’s out here playing the slots everyday, starring in a TV show, and hosting a casino-themed cruise—because why stop at winning money when you can win at everything? This, folks, is an example of how you turn your slot wins into an empire.
Who is ‘The Goddess of Slots’?
If you’re not familiar, Lorraine—known to her devoted followers as The Goddess of Slots— practically stumbled into casino influencer fame (so basically, she’s living the dream). One day she’s just a lady who hit a life-changing jackpot, the next she’s collaborating with major casinos, dropping slot wisdom on the best real money slots, and giving her fans the kind of secondhand adrenaline rush usually reserved for those extreme mountain biking videos.
A quick scroll through her socials will tell you exactly why she’s beloved: she’s fun, engaging, and, let’s just say her wins aren’t the only things that are huge. Of course, I’m referring to her massive following. Lorraine currently boasts a whopping 193k followers on Instagram and a respectable 51k on TikTok. Sure, those are no Kim K numbers, but in the world of casino news, she’s certainly holding her own.
The Goddess of Slots Is Taking Over TV
But beause conquering the casino world wasn’t quite enough for our girl Lorraine, she’s now the subject of some entertainment rumors. Word on the street is Miss Goddess is taking her talents to television, landing a role in Bloodhound, a series based on a real-life unsolved heist.
First of all, incredible branding. The betting casino goddess starring in a crime drama about a mysterious heist? That’s synergy, baby. The show is helmed by Michele Kanan, with Karate Kid/Cobra Kai star Sean Kanan playing a special agent, so we’re at least guaranteed some solid action and dramatic stares.
And because she’s truly in her to give the people what they want, she’s also taking fans on a Goddess of Slots Virgin Voyages cruise in September. Five nights of slot tournaments, meet-and-greets, and what I assume will be an extremely well-attended cocktail party. The Dominican Daze itinerary promises unforgettable moments, and I, for one, need either reality show about this immediately or an all-expenses-paid invite.
At this point, Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff isn’t just a casino influencer—she’s a full-blown entertainment mogul. The slots, the TV, the high seas… where does it end? (Hopefully never, because whatever energy she’s giving, we’re eating it up).

When Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, known to her ever-growing fanbase as the "Goddess of Slots," hit a viral jackpot, little did she know that the win would not just change her life — it would catapult her into the world of casino content creation, fashion, and social media influence. With an eye for style, a deep love for gaming, and a mission to empower women, Lorraine is now leading the charge in a male-dominated industry. From her upcoming VIP $1 Million tournament at Atlantis Bahamas to her debut appearance at the prestigious Global Gaming Exposition (G2E), Lorraine’s journey is one of reinvention, inspiration, and fearless self-expression.
From Jackpot to Influence: The Birth of a Brand
Lorraine’s entrance into the world of casino content creation wasn’t something she had planned. "I didn’t even know the world of influencers existed," she admits, reflecting on her first viral moment. "At that point, I went deep into social media, learning everything I could. The opportunities it offers now are incredible — you can showcase your passion to a worldwide audience."
But her transformation into the "Goddess of Slots" was serendipitous.
"I was trying to figure out what to call myself, and someone suggested ‘Goddess of Slots’ because I was dominating the machines. I thought, ‘Alright, why not?’ But I wanted to take it further — to empower women and show that we’re all goddesses in our own right."
It was a move that resonated with women across the globe, leading Lorraine to expand the Goddess of Slots brand into a lifestyle, not just a gaming niche. "My line is all about feeling sexy and vibrant, but also being confident and dressing for yourself, not for anyone else."
Lorraine isn’t just a slot machine enthusiast — she’s also a passionate actress. While balancing her work in the entertainment industry with her growing influencer career could seem challenging, Lorraine thrives on the energy of doing it all. "I’m one of those people who’s always juggling a million things. It keeps me going, and I wouldn’t have it any other way," she explains. Her acting background, which includes work in movies and even television productions, helps her stay comfortable in front of the camera and naturally engage with her audience. "I’ve always been able to ad-lib and meet new people," she says, "and now I get to combine that with the fun side of social media."
In fact, Lorraine’s dual career path is starting to overlap. "I kept my acting and social media worlds separate at first, but now they’re blending. Some followers know me from my casino content, others from my acting roles. It’s a cool crossover," she laughs.
While her primary focus may be slots, Lorraine’s content has expanded far beyond the casino floor. From game tutorials to showcasing her fashion choices and sharing glimpses into her everyday life, she keeps her audience engaged with a mix of humor, adventure, and authenticity. "I want to show people my life — I’m not just in casinos. I’m into cars, fashion, charity events… I want to share everything."
Her diverse interests resonate with her audience, particularly the male demographic. "When I’m at a car auction or fashion event, I take my followers along for the ride. They love getting a behind-the-scenes look at things they might not experience themselves."
For Lorraine, the key to engaging content is simple: "I always ask my followers, ‘What do you want to see?’ It’s all about creating a conversation. Sometimes people will tell me they don’t like my cameraman, and that’s okay. It’s all about the engagement and keeping it real."
One of the defining elements of Lorraine’s brand is the way she blends fashion with gaming content. Her outfits are as much a part of her social media presence as her casino tutorials. Whether she’s dressed in something chic for a night out or sporting casual, comfortable wear for a day in the casino, Lorraine’s message is clear: it’s about feeling confident in your own skin.
"I love when people comment on my outfits, whether they love them or not," she says. "It’s all about doing what makes you feel good. I’m comfortable in my skin, and that’s the message I want to give other women: be confident and wear what makes you feel strong."
Her fashion line, which she promotes through her social media, speaks to this confidence. "The Goddess of Slots brand is about empowering women to dress for themselves, to feel sexy, powerful, and vibrant. It’s not about conforming to others’ ideas of what you should wear. It’s about finding what makes you feel unstoppable."
Looking ahead, Lorraine sees huge potential for the Goddess of Slots brand. With plans for a VIP $1 million tournament at Atlantis Bahamas and her first time attending the Global Gaming Exposition (G2E), she’s ready to expand her influence in the gaming world. "I want to be in talks for a production that shows the lifestyle of a casino enthusiast — the behind-the-scenes of these incredible hotels and casinos, and what they offer beyond the games. I think people are ready for more than just the casino floor."
Beyond gaming, Lorraine is working on launching Goddess of Slots cruises and expanding her fashion line. "I see this brand as a lifestyle, not just a one-off. It’s about adventure, fun, and empowerment. I want women to know that they’re all goddesses, and they can own their power wherever they go."
Lorraine’s path to success hasn’t been linear, and that’s part of what makes her story so inspiring. "I’ve reinvented myself so many times," she reflects. "I’ve worked as a paralegal, got a master’s in social work, and worked as a school social worker. But through it all, I always pursued my acting dreams, and now I’m here — in the casino world, influencing people, and having the time of my life."Her career philosophy can be summed up in one sentence: "It’s all about being true to yourself, embracing who you are, and having fun with the journey."
For Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, aka the Goddess of Slots, the journey is just beginning. Whether she’s playing slots, creating fashion, or empowering women to feel strong and confident, one thing is clear: she’s living life on her terms, and inviting others to join her adventure every step of the way.

Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, known to her millions of fans as the “Goddess of Slots,” has had an exciting and eventful year marked by major achievements and new ventures that have elevated her as one of the gaming industry’s most influential personalities.
In August, Lorraine made waves at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, the world’s largest gaming convention, where she was hired to showcase the latest slot machines from AGS. Known for her vibrant and engaging personality, Lorraine livestreamed from the convention floor, offering her fans exclusive access to the newest slot game releases. Her live sessions allowed viewers to experience firsthand the innovative features of AGS’s latest machines, creating an interactive and dynamic connection between Lorraine and her dedicated fanbase.
October saw Lorraine embarking on a thrilling adventure aboard Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady, where she joined renowned slot player Scott “Raja” Richter (also known as “The Big Jackpot”) for an unforgettable cruise. The high-limit room on the ship was officially unveiled during the event, which featured a lively slot competition and a group pull that resulted in a substantial jackpot win for participants. The cruise was such a success that Lorraine is already in talks with Virgin Voyages for a special “Goddess of Slots” cruise scheduled for 2025. This trip will include a meet-and-greet, exclusive prizes, a cocktail party, and numerous fun surprises.
In November, Lorraine competed in the prestigious Atlantis $1 Million Slot Tournament, known as the “My VIP World Tournament of Slots,” where she advanced to the semi-finals. Her presence at the event was a highlight, as she also participated in interviews and a meet-and-greet with her fans. Attendees were thrilled to receive autographed pictures and exclusive Goddess of Slots T-shirts, featuring the new, trademarked Goddess of Slots slot machine logo. Lorraine’s unique style of filming, often referred to as “gorilla filming,” allows her viewers to feel immersed in the action, and her engaging, handheld filming technique has made her a fan favorite. This style has earned her a special privilege—Lorraine is one of the very few social media influencers allowed to film at Atlantis, Paradise Islands, Bahamas.
Lorraine was recently cast in a TV series based upon a true story which will be shooting soon in California. On Monday, November 25, Lorraine will appear at the Hard Rock in Tampa—a casino she can often be found creating content—alongside Scott “Raja” Richter for a livestream as she helps demonstrate the newest Aristocrat game, The Phoenix Link, before it is unveiled to the public on November 26. And on December 5, Lorraine will be a guest on the “Live Well and Thrive” podcast with Mike Torchia and then fly to Las Vegas to appear at the at The El Cortez Hotel and Casino that same evening.

Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, better known as the "Goddess of Slots" across social media, has made a name for herself both in the entertainment and the gaming worlds. Known for her viral jackpot win and vibrant social media presence, Lorraine has captivated audiences with her engaging gaming tutorials, fashion, and humor. She’s collaborated with numerous prominent casinos and has made significant contributions to film and TV, appearing in notable roles like "Real Rob" (Netflix) and "Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn" (HBO), as well as such films as "Swing State" and "Six Gun Savior."
Now, Lorraine is set to take on a thrilling new role in “Bloodhound,” an upcoming TV series that follows the true story of the infamous 1990 Isabella Garner Museum Heist. Produced by the Emmy winning team behind Studio City, "Bloodhound" promises a gripping narrative, and Lorraine's performance will add another impressive credit to her acting repertoire.
Along with her acting career, Lorraine continues to dominate the gaming scene as the "Goddess of Slots," launching her own brand that has become a go-to platform for gaming enthusiasts and those interested in casino and club fashion. And most recently she partnered with Virgin Voyages, an adults-only premiere cruise line, for her upcoming “Goddess of Slots x Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady” cruise setting sail in September.
Lorraine, your rise to fame as the "Goddess of Slots" is quite a unique story. How did a viral jackpot win launch you into becoming a leading gaming influencer, and what role does your digital presence play in your career?
Thank you for your interest in my journey! I was between acting jobs when I was in a casino and threw some money into a slot machine, which hit a jackpot. We happened to catch it on video and posted it to social media, which went viral. A friend explained that there was such a thing as casino influencers and it just took off from there.
It’s interesting because, at first, I kept my professional acting life—where I’m known as Lorraine Ziff—and the casino influencer life separate. But with so much cross reference from one to the other, and the fact that social followings seem to be a thing these days, even in the acting world, it made sense to cross pollinate the two. The “Goddess of Slots” moniker was created to stay active between acting jobs and, as life sometimes imitates art and sometimes art imitates life, each role has benefitted the other.
You've achieved major milestones in the gaming industry, including participating in a million-dollar casino slot tournament. What's been the most rewarding part of your journey as the "Goddess of Slots" and how has this success opened new doors for you?
The most enjoyable part of the journey has been the ability to meet and connect with people from all walks of life who enjoy the gaming world. I've met some incredible people, from other influencers to those working in the gaming industry to those who consider themselves fans. Overall, folks have been really terrific—sharing their own stories of wins and losses, supporting and cheering me on, and discussing my fashion with me. So much so that all the clothing in my reels is now for available for purchase via my website. I've truly enjoyed these interactions. And, of course, hitting jackpots is a major coup, too!
You've had an impressive career in movies and TV. How do you approach your roles and what do you find most rewarding about acting?
I've been involved in the acting world since my days in Junior High School. My goal was to always be an actor and a writer. And while I diverted a bit by doing a stint in law school and achieving my M.S.W., as well as working as a social worker, I remained loyal to my goals. The diversions were the "Plan B"—reality-based careers, but I kept up with auditions and with writing on nights and weekends. The acting world is a hard one to break in to. And I think it was even harder when there was no real social media. I’ve approached each role by really getting into the head and heart of whatever character I’ve played, always remembering that there is no two-dimensional character. The richer you can make the life of the character, the better. There’s no straight "this person is all good" or "this person is all bad," but rather nuances of good and dark that make up real people in any good drama, just as in life. The exception to that is in an outlandish comedy or a Marvel movie, when there is a clear hero and a clear villain. I think having worked as a therapist really helped me in terms of creating more "real life" characters that I'm able to bring to the screen.
You're currently working on “Bloodhound,” a show spearheaded by Emmy-winning television producer Michele Kanan, who's writing and directing it. How does it feel to be a part of a project with such high profile backing and what drew you to the story of the Gardner Museum Heist?
First and foremost, it’s an honor to work with Michele and the entire team. She’s a great director who never seems to get ruffled, no matter what is thrown at her, which I really admire. She brings a calmness to set that allows actors to take chances in their acting. One of my favorite genres is mystery, especially if it's based on a true story. That was the appeal for this series. The fact that this heist is still, all these years later, unsolved, makes it even more intriguing.
What aspects of your character in “Bloodhound” are you most excited to explore, and how does this role differ from others you’ve played in your career?
I’ve played everything from silly bimbo to FBI agent. This role allows me to be the most human. I have a husband I'm very much in love with, but also very frustrated with because I can see the writing on the wall based upon the different life choices he makes. I can't tell you much more than that without giving things away, however, I can tell you that I loved playing the character, both as a younger person and as a woman many years later.
You're also working with Sean Kanan in “Bloodhound,” an Emmy-nominated actor known for his roles in “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Cobra Kai.” What has it been like collaborating with him and how has his experience influenced your work together?
You’re forgetting "The Karate Kid" film series too! Sean is a seasoned actor and a true professional. He’s acted in many things, between movies and television, and he's also written several books. He is a real inspiration and a true pleasure to be around. While we didn't have many scenes together, just watching him in action was a real treat. He's as generous off set as he is on, and with his peers too. He’s very giving as a professional and as a human, which makes him a super special person.
Balancing your acting career with your influence in the gaming industry must be a challenge. How do you manage both, and do you find that your acting skills help in creating content as the "Goddess of Slots"?
The only challenge between acting and gaming is time. I've had to move some things around to meet filming schedules, but luckily—for the most part—everyone I've had the opportunity to work with has been flexible enough so that things have worked out. I think the ad lib of the slot game has kept me sharp while in between acting jobs. And I think the acting jobs and all of the professional training that I’ve had over many years, both in college and outside of college, in NYC and LA, has enabled me to feel comfortable in front of the camera. The two worlds have co-mingled better than I could have ever hoped for!
How do you view the intersection between acting, entrepreneurship, and gaming? How do you see this blend influence your career moving forward?
It’s funny you mention that. I was just thinking about it recently myself. I've always loved the arts and the creativity that it affords me. I've had the deep dive into the human psyche with my training as a therapist. I've also always loved being a businesswoman and—in addition to real estate that I own and manage—having the ability to partner with an import-export company in order to offer fashion online via my clothing company. All of this enables me to live out my entrepreneurial dreams. The gaming industry allows me to not only meet people and offer tutorials and exploration of games, but to essentially play as well. It all seems to have come together to afford me a life I've always wanted—one that allows me to examine and experience the many aspects of who I am and what I enjoy. It's the perfect blend and I'm eternally grateful for all of it.
Looking ahead, what projects are you most excited about? Can you tell us more about any upcoming ventures you are involved with?
I'm excited to continue my appearances and opening up casinos and high-limit rooms. I'm excited about growing my "Goddess of Slots" brand. In fact, I've just partnered with Virgin Voyages to put together a "Goddess of Slots" cruise for this upcoming September, from the 12th through the 17th. It's going to be amazing with cocktail parties and an introduction to the high-limit room on board, as well as handouts, meet-and-greet, slot tournaments, dining in specialty restaurants on board together, and overall just having a complete blast. The feedback I'm already getting has been incredible! The rooms are going quickly, so sign up soon!
I am also excited about more filming for “Bloodhound” as well as a second TV show I'm currently working on. All I can say that one is that it’s a very funny comedy and people will easily recognize me on the show. Stay tuned for more information! And you can always check my website under "Events" to see what I am up to and where am.

Background and journey: Can you tell us about your journey in the entertainment industry and how you transitioned from actress to entrepreneur?
Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff: “It’s been quite the whirlwind! I’ve always actually been an entrepreneur, creating businesses throughout my life. I’ve also always been tuned in to my creative side, between the acting, writing, and producing. Acting gave me a platform to tell stories, but becoming the ‘Goddess of Slots’ happened unexpectedly after my viral jackpot win. That win, combined with my love for fun and my background in social work, helped me connect with my audience on a deeper level. It also kind of naturally led to my entrepreneurial path by blending entertainment with personal engagement.”
The jackpot win: Your viral jackpot win was a pivotal moment for you. Can you share the details of that win and how it changed your life?
“That was a game-changer! I was at the casino with friends and we were recording for fun. When I won, I posted the video online and it went viral overnight. From there, everything just kind of took off. It was unexpected but it put me on this exciting new path.”
Goddess of Slots: How did the moniker “Goddess of Slots” come about, and what does it mean to you personally and professionally?
“A friend, who knows my love for fashion already, referred to me as ‘goddess.’ After my big win, he jokingly said, ‘I was now also the Goddess of the Slots.’ We all got a kick out of that and it just stuck. From there, it evolved into what is now my brand. I feel all women are goddesses in their own way. For me, it’s a nice blend of entertainment and empowerment. Personally, I feel it represents confidence and beauty. Professionally, it’s about creating fun content that connects with my audience… READ MORE

The 'Goddess of Slots' Lorraine Ziff spends time with Gaming America, to explain how acting and producing helped prepare her for a life of content creation in the gaming space.
Were there parts of your upbringing that inspired this career path?
It’s actually very funny, I grew up in the Bronx and in Yonkers, New York, so I was literally down the block from the Yonkers Racetrack. We never had casinos or anything like that, though, and gambling was never a big deal for me. We did know about the horse races and would get to walk around the racetrack at times due to friendships with some of the people who worked there. I always thought the thoroughbreds were magnificent.
Casinos were not something I was exposed to. It’s ironic that I’ve had a number of different careers and now am in the gaming world.
How did the name Goddess of Slots come about? Is that something you came up with?
I was sitting with a couple of very dear friends, and we were kicking around different names. One of them had said, ‘you have to call yourself something’ but I just didn’t know.
I do enjoy fancy outfits and the like, so he said, ‘Well, I call you goddess because you’re always dressing up and you’re a girly-girl when it comes to that.’ He had also pointed out how goddess had a double connotation to mean dominating, so it worked as in I am “dominating” the slots in a way!
I noticed you had done work in acting, as well as directing and producing. How did that part of your career prepare you for working on social media?
When I was doing movies and television, I had to memorize lines, something I despise, and now I’ve found something where I can move away from that. This whole thing started because I was in between acting jobs, and I was in a casino and somebody happened to film me. I hit a jackpot, and we posted it to social media as a goof but then it went really viral. My friend said to me, ‘There’s a whole segment of people who like to watch that.’ Compared to acting though, this is a bit easier for me. In both instances, I have to be “on” and I still have to bring the energy, but as an influencer, I’m able to ad-lib and be silly, while still being creative. I enjoy performing and I’m not nervous in front of a camera – it comes very naturally to me, so my acting training and the social media I’m doing now all ties in nicely.
You mentioned the “viral” moment you had with the jackpot; was that the first breakout moment of your career, per se?
It really was. And again it started as a joke, so the fact that it even happened was crazy. I got over a million views and was like, ‘This is nuts!’
Is your content suited for both experienced and new players in casinos?
I would say it’s suited for both. The reason for that is, a lot of times, I will describe the game and I will say, ‘Okay, this is what the denomination is, this is what we’re looking for.’
Like a Dragon Link, for example, if it’s Autumn Moon, I’ll say ‘we need three of the moons to land.’ I’ll explain the game as I go through, which I’ve had people write to me and say, ‘we never saw that game and so we appreciate that you’re doing that.’ I just did a roll out for the newest Rakin’ Bacon in Nevada and so, when I got there, the games were described to me. Then, as I played them and we were filming, I was able to describe them to the audience.
Are there similarities to how you film now versus for television and film?
It’s interesting because, first of all, television and movies are two very, very different things in that, for television, they try not to make a lot of edits. They try not to take a lot of cuts, whereas, for movies, they’ll do a scene and
then they’ll cut it, stop it and then they’ll have you take some from a different angle and continuously reshoot. Usually there are four or five cameras going at once, and a scene will be looked at, edited and possibly redone hundreds of times like you can’t even imagine. I was a producer as well as an actress on a movie called Six Gun Saviour, which was a supernatural western. Being both behind the scenes and in front, it just took forever.
It was crazy, whereas in social media, it’s really cool, because I don’t really have to edit my stuff, it’s mainly just one-and-done. What you see is what you get, because I’m not memorizing lines or anything. It’s here I am, and I’m either going to win or I’m going to lose – and the audience is going to see that.
I was just at a photoshoot yesterday and I was posing, doing all these things, but then at one point, I misstepped and I almost broke my neck. I tripped, so an editor said, ‘Well, should we cut that? Do we want to put this
behind-the-scenes stuff on social media? Should we cut that out?’ And I said no, because that’s me. Sometimes I can be clumsy and that’s okay. It’s not about conveying an image – it’s about taking the viewer on a fun journey with me."
Absolutely, and what different types of content have you found can be created within the gaming space?
What I enjoy doing is almost a bit more than just gambling. Sometimes, you’ll get gambling stuff, or you could get the casino itself, whether it be the food and restaurants or entertainment space.
It could also be a peek into my life for viewers. I enjoy classic cars so if I’m invited to a show or auction, my audience will come along for that as well. I’ve been to charity events and posted those. My content is really about what I enjoy doing and, in the gaming space, there’s so many avenues to choose from, including the slot reviews; which is what you’ll often see me film with casinos.
Do you typically work directly with casinos, or independently find games of interest and connect with properties from there?
Most of the time it’s independent, but I do have casinos that will fly me out. The Peppermill in Reno, Nevada just had me out recently for the unveiling of the newest Rakin’ Bacon games. In Atlantic City, a few months ago, they held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the release and the fact that you could also gamble online, which I had the pleasure of being invited to. It’s a combination of the two really. I’m going on a cruise next month with Virgin with the chance to be part of opening the newest high-limit slot room on the cruise. If I’m invited, I go out and play, if not, you can find me in a casino looking for games that seem fun for myself and the viewers.
How do you stay engaged with your fans?
I have meet and greets and I really try to respond to people, as well. When they write to me, and if they’re respectful, and I can roll with the punches, I’ll write back to them and try to form a nice connection. I try not to engage with trolls – the rude or disrespectful ones – on social media; I do have some great laughs over how clever some people think they are and the jokes they’ll make, it’s all in good fun really.
If casinos see your content and that of other creators, does it push them to be more open with their consumer bases?
Some casinos didn’t allow people to film, which was really missing the boat. Now I believe many casinos have really jumped on the bandwagon and see influencers for what we are: which is advertising for you. We’re
bringing bodies in the door because the consumer is often excited to meet us and share in the same experiences we are having in the casino. They want to play the games we show on our social media. There's an excitement and an energy there, and social media is the newest way to show the casino or the new game in a thrilling way. This is one more way to help get players in the door, so it’s really a win-win for all involved. Hard Rock has been very receptive to this new way of doing things for a while. The Peppermill in Reno has held big influencer events and public turnout has been incredible for them. Other casinos have been slower to recognize the value. MGM recently gave me permission to film and at G2E in Vegas, this year, I certainly took advantage of being allowed to do that.
How do you see your brand evolving from here?
I’m hoping it will get bigger and bigger. My end game would be to do a travel-type casino review show where I’m going from casino to casino, either by myself or with “my merry band of gamblers” playing games, checking the casinos and providing tips. Something similar to American Pickers on a network like Netflix, Hulu, Discovery, History or Travel Channels.

At times it feels like wellness or elevating one’s well-being, is diametrically opposed to high achievement and high performance in one’s career. The stress, mental energy, long hours, lack of restful sleep and preoccupation that result from a high-achievement life seem to directly inhibit wellness. And yet, in order to sustain the creativity, flexibility, mental acuity and resilience that are necessary for high performance, wellness and wellbeing of the mind, body and soul are also mandatory. So how do we achieve both? This is the question I’m hoping to answer through conversations with high-achieving leaders and influencers who are practicing their own philosophies about how to maintain their wellbeing.
As a part of our series about “Social Media Influencers Share Their Top Self Care, Wellness, and Beauty Tips, I had the pleasure of interviewing Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff.
Actress, producer, and entrepreneur Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff created the Goddess of Slots as a result of a jackpot win that went viral on social media. Now known by the moniker, she has become a formidable influencer in the casino and gaming industry. Her vibrant social media presence captivates her ever-increasing audience with a mix of engaging content, game tutorials, humor, fashion, and exciting promotional activities — all serving to drive widespread interest to the gaming world. In the film and TV industries, Lorraine is known for roles in such films as Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn, Six Gun Savior, The Martial Arts Kid, and Swing State. She has also appeared on Netflix’s Real Rob as well and a number of HBO television series.
Thank you so much for doing this with us! Our readers would love to get to know you a bit better. Can you share with us the backstory of how you came upon this career path to where you are today?
After graduating college, I began working as an actor, appearing in both movies and television. I’d earned my Master’s Degree and worked as a school social worker and therapist, while also getting into property investment and rentals. I continued auditioning and pursuing my acting career until, one day, while between acting jobs, I happened to pass a bank of slot machines at a casino. I played it and hit a jackpot. The moment was filmed so I posted it online and it went viral. A friend pointed out that there was a niche for casino influencers, and I realized I enjoyed the spontaneity and fun of creating those reels. That’s when I decided to pursue this new career path.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story about that?
My parents instilled in me the confidence to pursue my interests and not worry too much about the naysayers, and that mindset has served me well. Education further strengthened that foundation. My degree in communication, journalism, and theatre — along with years of acting classes in both NY and CA — helped me feel comfortable in front of the camera. Earning my MSW and working with people taught me how to engage easily with others and truly listen to their life stories. It was a friend who introduced me to the world of social media casino influencers and connected me with people already in the industry who were willing to guide me. For example, The Big Jackpot, a well-known casino influencer, has always been generous in answering my questions and making helpful introductions. We’ve even collaborated on posts, having fun gambling together and sharing the content with both his audience and mine.
It has been said that sometimes our mistakes can be our greatest teachers. Can you share a story with us about the most humorous mistake you made when you were first starting? What lesson or take-away did you learn from that?
Oh my goodness, I’ve made so many mistakes! From completely flubbing auditions to making errors in my social media posts for Goddess of Slots — like using too many hashtags, or posting vertical videos when they should have been horizontal, and vice versa. Each time, someone would point out the mistake, and I’d make a point to learn from it and improve the next time. One of my strengths has always been staying flexible and open enough to learn from those slip-ups.
As an influencer, you have been blessed with great success in a career path that many have attempted, but eventually gave up on. In fact, perhaps most people who tried to follow a career path like yours did not succeed. Do you have any words of advice for others who may want to embark on this career path but know that their dreams might be dashed?
Don’t give up. That’s the best advice I could give. I’ve spent a lot of time researching different aspects of what I wanted to achieve — like building my audience on social media. I’ve stayed persistent and consistent, posting every single day, studying algorithms, popular music, trending tags, and asking for advice from people who knew more than I did about the areas where I needed guidance.
Can you share with our readers some of the strategies you’ve used to build an engaged, loyal, and large online community?
I try to engage with my followers as much as possible, even if it’s just a smiley face. People appreciate being acknowledged, and I’m happy to do that. I’m authentic — what you see is what you get. If I make a mistake, I own it. I’m silly and playful, and I think people appreciate that too. I also try to keep my posts interesting, with variety and clever comments.
Okay, thank you for all that. Now let’s shift to the main focus of our interview. In my work, I focus on how one can thrive and care for oneself in three areas: body, mind, and heart. You are a busy person with a demanding schedule, can you share with our readers two self-care routines, practices or treatments that help your body thrive? (Kindly share a story or an example for each.)
I love showers and baths, and I always make time for them, with music playing loudly. Baths soothe me, while showers invigorate me, so I do one or the other every day, depending on what my body needs. I also have a morning skincare routine to start my day and an evening routine to help me wind down. That time is non-negotiable for me. I also try to get some form of exercise every day. Sometimes it’s vigorous, like cycling or running on the treadmill, and sometimes it’s with weights, especially when I want to feel strong. Other days, I do yoga or Pilates, depending on what my body needs. Swimming is a favorite because it combines everything, so I swim whenever I can.
Can you share with us two routines that you use to help your mind or heart to thrive?
I see a monthly massage as a necessity. And occasionally, I’ll put the phone and social media down, climb into bed, and give myself permission to just chill — whether it’s reading a book or zoning out with a mindless TV show. Music is a constant in my life. I love all genres and usually have something playing, depending on my mood. I’ll be singing, dancing, or just relaxing. Sometimes, I need to be in nature, so I’ll take a short walk to clear my head. Being near water soothes my soul, but being around trees feels good too. And I always say my prayers before bed. I give thanks and pray for my loved ones. It’s a beautiful way to stay grounded in gratitude and humility… READ MORE

Lorraine Bencivengo-Ziff, an actress, producer, and entrepreneur, is making waves in the gaming industry under her new moniker, “Goddess of Slots.” Her journey from screen star to casino influencer began two years ago with a viral jackpot win that would change her life forever. Now, Lorraine captivates a growing audience with her energetic social media presence, blending casino game tutorials, humor, fashion, and promotional activities that have brought a unique charm to the casino and gaming world.
With an IMDb resume featuring roles in Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn, Six Gun Savior, The Martial Arts Kid, Swing State, and Netflix’s Real Rob, Lorraine is no stranger to the spotlight or the red carpet. Yet, her new role as the Goddess of Slots came unexpectedly, following that memorable jackpot that was captured on video. Lorraine shared the moment on social media, and to her surprise, the post went viral.
Encouraged by a friend to explore the idea of creating a platform around her casino adventures, Lorraine embraced her new persona as the “Goddess of Slots.” Unaware of the thriving community of casino influencers, she quickly learned that people loved watching others play and win. Lorraine’s authenticity, humor, and ad-libbing—skills she honed in her acting career—made her an instant hit.
Lorraine’s growing popularity has been fueled by her ability to connect with her audience on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. She invites followers on an adventure—not just through casinos but also through her life’s exciting events, including Daytona Bike Week and charity events like Thunder by the Bay and The V Foundation Charity Event.
Drawing on her experiences as a Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate, Lorraine enjoys interacting with her followers, both in person and online. Whether meeting fans at casinos or sharing her adventures through social media reels, Lorraine offers a unique blend of entertainment and personal engagement. She encourages responsible gambling, always reminding her audience to set a budget for fun and stick to it. Showing both wins and losses, Lorraine keeps her message real: gambling is a game of chance, and there are no guarantees.
Lorraine’s entrepreneurial spirit shines through her Goddess of Slots brand. Taking advice from a friend of hers, Gene Simmons of Kiss fame, she quickly trademarked her Goddess of Slots moniker, along with several logos, one of which features a woman standing beside a winning slot machine, while another shows the window of a slot machine with three Goddess of Slots figures displaying the win. Co-owner of a clothing line that she frequently showcases in her videos, Lorraine has expanded her brand to include merchandise like T-shirts, baseball caps, and more. Fans of Goddess of Slots can not only enjoy her content but also shop the various looks by contacting her directly via email.
Her goal of monetizing her social media presence has brought her recognition in the gaming industry, leading to invitations to major events, such as ribbon-cuttings at top casinos. Most notably, Lorraine has appeared alongside George Goldhoff, President of Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City, and participated in slot machine rollouts at the Peppermill Casino in Reno, NV.
As her influence continues to grow, Lorraine’s goal is to expand her brand even further. She envisions a show on Netflix, Discovery Channel, or Hulu that chronicles her journey through the gaming and casino world. Additionally, she hopes to collaborate with slot creators to launch a Goddess of Slots slot machine—an idea that would truly bring her brand full circle.
With recent events like the rollout of the newest Rakin’ Bacon slot casino game at The Peppermill in Reno, Lorraine’s journey is just beginning. Keep an eye on her social media platforms to follow her adventures and see what the Goddess of Slots has in store next.
